Drop a pixel character. Watch it walk.

A front-view character in a relaxed pose is rigged with 17 bones and baked into one .riv that plays in Rive's own runtime: idle, walk, wave and cheer. It all runs on this page. Your picture never leaves your device, and there is nothing to sign in to.

1. Your character

Front view, arms and legs a little apart from the body, nothing held across it. Pixel art, or a model's "pixel art" (it is snapped onto a real grid). Up to 8 MB.

    2. In Rive's runtime

    Your character plays here.

SnapA model's soft, drifting "pixel art" goes onto a real grid with a clean outline; real pixel art stays as you drew it.
RigThe standard 17-bone skeleton is measured on the silhouette, every pixel is cut to a bone, and the rig is checked. A joint off by a pixel is moved, and you're told which.
BakeEach animation is drawn by the puppet itself, limbs turned and relit in the art's own pixels, into one .riv with a state machine. It plays in every Rive runtime.

Polymation does much more for an AI assistant (Claude, Cursor and others): a whole cast, outfits, expressions, more animations, conversion between Rive, Lottie, Spline and Figma. Set it up. This page counts how many people reach each step, by day, with no cookies and nothing about you; see the privacy policy.
